Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls/Sauce

Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls

1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. baking powder
Water to mix

Precook or boil chicken breasts. Cut into small cubes about 1 inch. Dip in batter and deep fry until golden brown.

Sweet and Sour Sauce

2/3 c. sugar
¼ c. ketchup
1 cup water
¼ c. vinegar
½ c. pineapple juice (optional for chicken wings)
2 tsp. cornstarch

Combine sugar, ketchup, vinegar in saucepan; bring to a boil and mix cornstarch with water. Add and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Pour over or use as a dip.
